Dental Emergencies Can't Wait—And Neither Do We

When you're in pain or facing a dental emergency, you need care now. We reserve time every day for urgent cases and will do everything possible to see you the same day.

We're Here When You Need Us

Dental emergencies are stressful. Whether it's sudden pain, a broken tooth, or an injury, you shouldn't have to wait days for relief. At Memphis Dental, we understand that emergencies don't follow a schedule—that's why we do everything possible to accommodate urgent cases quickly.

When you call with an emergency, we'll assess your situation over the phone, provide immediate guidance, and get you into our office as soon as possible. Your comfort and care are our priority.

Common Dental Emergencies

Severe Toothache

Sudden or intense tooth pain often indicates an infection or damage that needs immediate attention. Don't wait—call us right away.

Broken Or Chipped Tooth

Whether from an accident or biting something hard, a broken tooth needs prompt care to prevent further damage and restore your smile.

Knocked-Out Tooth

Time is critical. If you can get to us within an hour, we may be able to save the tooth. Keep it moist and call immediately.

Lost Filling Or Crown

A lost restoration leaves your tooth vulnerable. We'll protect it quickly and discuss permanent repair options.

Abscess Or Swelling

Facial swelling or a pimple on your gums could indicate an abscess—a serious infection that requires urgent treatment.

Dental Injury

Sports injuries, falls, and accidents happen. We'll assess the damage and create a treatment plan to restore your smile.

What To Do In A Dental Emergency

For severe pain: Rinse with warm salt water, take over-the-counter pain medication, and call us immediately.

For a knocked-out tooth: Handle by the crown (not the root), rinse gently, and try to place it back in the socket. If you can't, keep it in milk and get to us within an hour.

For a broken tooth: Rinse your mouth, apply a cold compress to reduce swelling, and save any pieces. Call us right away.

For swelling or abscess: This is a serious condition. Call us immediately—don't wait for it to get worse.

Not sure if it's an emergency? Call us. We'd rather hear from you early than have you suffer unnecessarily.

Don't Wait In Pain
