What To Do In A Dental Emergency
For severe pain: Rinse with warm salt water, take over-the-counter pain medication, and call us immediately.
For a knocked-out tooth: Handle by the crown (not the root), rinse gently, and try to place it back in the socket. If you can't, keep it in milk and get to us within an hour.
For a broken tooth: Rinse your mouth, apply a cold compress to reduce swelling, and save any pieces. Call us right away.
For swelling or abscess: This is a serious condition. Call us immediately—don't wait for it to get worse.
Not sure if it's an emergency? Call us. We'd rather hear from you early than have you suffer unnecessarily.
